Recent Developments in Advanced Oxidation Processes for Organics-Polluted Soil Reclamation

Soil pollution has become a substantial environmental problem which is amplified by overpopulation in different regions. In this review, the state of art regarding use Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) for soil remediation presented. This review aims to provide an outline recent technologies developed decontamination polluted soils using AOPs. Depending on process, these techniques have been presented three categories: Fenton sulfate radicals and coupled processes. The presents achievements of, includes some reflections on, status emerging technologies, mechanisms, influential factors. At present, more investigation development actions are still desirable bring them real full-scale implementation.
